I’m born and raised in Norway. Married to Guri, and we have four children. I have worked with Norwegian Lutheran Mission (http://nlm.no/) for more than forty years, eighteen of them as a missionary to South East Asia (Indonesia and Singapore). Since 1995 I have been working for the mission in Norway. Six years at Fjellhaug Mission Seminary (now Fjellhaug International University College), teaching New Testament and missions. I served as president of the seminary for a couple of
years. After that I was appointed General Secretary (Executive Director) of Norwegian Lutheran Mission. I resigned in 2010 after nine years in the office. Presently I’m learning Spanish in Peru.
I speak Norwegian, English and Indonesian, and I hold a doctoral degree in New Testament theology.
